While enrolled in the economics department at Keio University, Kiyokawa joined the camera club and began devoting himself to studying photography. His pictures of everyday life with his family and trips with friends capture nostalgic scenes from the Showa Period. In this exhibition, we introduce some ten or so pictures of waterfront landscapes from Kiyokawa’s travels as well as beautiful shots of people in his black-and-white photos from the early years of Showa.
