While energetically devoting himself to painting, Taiji Kiyokawa, who belonged to the school photo club as a youth, maintained a strong interest in photography. Kiyokawa’s photos of his family, friends, and travel destinations are filled with nostalgic scenes from the Showa Period (1926-1989). In this exhibition, we showcase a generous selection of these monochrome pictures along with photo albums from Kiyokawa’s youth and countless photographs taken on his trips to places like Kamakura, Nara, and Nikko.
